Naani’ki is an initiative towards craft revival and infusing timeless charm into lightweight jewels. Inspired by sepia toned photo memories of our grannies, it is an attempt to remake classic Pattra jewellery.
These jewels are handmade in a century-old craft that is brought to life in lanes of old Uttarpradesh by local artisans that have generations of silversmiths dedicated to this art.
Chunks of silver are hammered into thin sheets that are cut-out and lacquered onto wooden blocks to notch, carve and stud with semi-precious stones.
With each purchase you are supporting art that is vintage and a handful of local artisans who are experts at it.
